3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in what are known as server log files. This information is automatically transmitted by your browser and includes:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Page or file accessed
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
This data is analyzed solely to ensure the smooth operation of the website and to improve our offering, and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally.

4. Contact
If you contact me by email or via a contact form, the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, message) is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry.
This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication)
5. Cookies and consent
This website stores your cookie choice locally in your browser (local storage) so that the consent banner does not appear again on every visit. This storage is technically necessary and does not require consent.
When you first open the home page, we forward you to the language version your browser reports as its preferred one: English at /en/, French at /fr/, and in all other cases the German version stays. If you pick a language yourself in the language switcher, we store that choice for one year in a cookie named “lang” so that the automatic forwarding does not override it. This storage is also technically necessary and does not require consent.
In the consent banner, you can choose separately between two categories: Statistics (item 6) and Marketing (items 7 and 8). Both are only activated after your explicit consent. As long as no consent has been given, no service is loaded and no corresponding cookies are set.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the link "Change cookie settings" at the bottom of this page.
6. Web analytics with Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze the use of the website (e.g., pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device used).
This is used only after your explicit consent to the "Statistics" category. The Google Analytics code is only loaded after you give your consent. We also use Google Consent Mode, which defaults to "denied" until consent is given. The IP address is processed in truncated form (IP anonymization).
When using Google Analytics, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; however, it cannot be completely ruled out that US authorities may access this data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Section 25(1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act) for the storage of and access to information on the end device.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Change cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.
7. Ad measurement with Google Ads
If you arrive at this website via a Google ad and subsequently submit a form, we measure this using a conversion tag from Google Ireland Limited. It helps us identify which ads led to a genuine inquiry.
This is used only after your explicit consent to the "Marketing" category. Without this consent, no tag is loaded and no conversion is reported.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Section 25(1) TDDDG.
8. Facebook/Meta Pixel
This website may use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) to measure the effectiveness of ads on Facebook and Instagram.
This is used only after your explicit consent to the "Marketing" category. Without this consent, the pixel is not loaded.
When the Meta Pixel is active, personal data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Section 25(1) TDDDG.
9. Your rights as a data subject
You have the right at any time to:
- obtain information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- request deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- request data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You can contact me at any time regarding these or any other questions about data protection.
10. Withdrawing your consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent.
You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.
11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
In the event of a data protection violation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
The competent authority is the Data Protection Officer of the state of Hesse.
12. Change cookie settings
You can adjust or withdraw your consent to Statistics and Marketing at any time.
